On Sunday, March 1, 2026, over 450 participants from
our community will take steps to end local hunger!
In Union County, it's estimated over 27,000 adults and children are hungry or facing the threat of hunger. That’s approximately 11.1% of the residents of our county. 1 in 6 children in Union County live in homes facing food insecurity.
Common Heart's food pantries are a lifeline for our hungry neighbors. Each month, over 7,500 individuals are served through 13 pantry programs.
So why do we walk?
We walk to raise awareness about our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
We walk to raise funds to provide food, to meet an immediate need.
We walk to be a part of a small revolution of kindness.
